Linkin Park Guys -> Mr. Hahn

Mr. Hahn

Joseph Hahn, better known as Mr. Hahn, (born March 15, 1977 in Dallas, Texas) is a Korean American turntablist and director best known as the DJ for Linkin Park
Joe joined Linkin Park, after meeting fellow band mate Mike Shinoda in art school, when the band was called Xero in 1996 as the band's turntablist. Since then, he has directed music videos for most singles of his band, with the exceptions of "One Step Closer", "Crawling", "Faint" and "Given Up". He is referenced to as Mr. Hahn at the beginning of "Cure for the Itch" from Hybrid Theory as well as in "And One" from Hybrid Theory EP and "Kyur4 TH Ich" from Reanimation. He has also remixed their songs "With You" and "Cure for the Itch" (originally on "Hybrid Theory"), which appear on the remix album Reanimation as "Wth>You" and "Kyur4 Th Ich".
On the 2007 album Minutes to Midnight, Joe Hahn focused his contributions on programming with his sound effects board and MIDI keyboard. Minutes To Midnight also features his turntable talents on three tracks: "What I've Done", "Valentine's Day", and "In Pieces." Joe has been known to utilize MIDI pads on several tracks from the band. Examples include "Crawling", "Numb", and "Points of Authority".
[edit] Personal life
He married Karen Benedit in February 2005 after dating her since 2003. Hahn attended the accredited Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, but didn't graduate in order to put his efforts into the band. Joe is known for his dry sense of humor and wit in most interviews. Joe is also a Transformers fan - on various occasions he has worn clothing or used turntables with Decepticon symbols on them. He was also the one to advise the band to put the single "What I've Done" on the soundtrack for the Transformers live action movie. Joe, along with Rob and Chester, were present at the Transformers movie premiere.

Linkin Park Guys -> Mike Shinoda

Mike Shinoda

Michael Kenji Shinoda (born February 11, 1977)[1][2] is an American musician, record producer, and artist from Agoura Hills, California. His father is Japanese American,[3] while his mother is of European and Native American descent.[4] He is best known as the rapper, keyboardist, backing vocalist and rhythm guitarist of Linkin Park, and his side project, Fort Minor. He also provides artwork, production and mixing for both groups.
Mike Shinoda was raised in the Los Angeles suburb of Agoura Hills.[1] He attended Parkman Elementary and Lindero Canyon Middle School.
As per his mother's wishes, Shinoda began his classical piano training with lessons around the age of six, his enthusiasm eventually growing. At the age of thirteen, he expressed the desire to move towards playing jazz, blues, and maybe hip-hop. [7] During his middle school and high school years, he added the guitar and, eventually, rap-style vocals to his repertoire.
After his teens, Mike Shinoda's rap interests found a source of encouragement in Brad Delson, with whom he started to write and record songs in a makeshift studio set up in his basement. Shinoda attended Agoura High School with Linkin Park bandmates Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon as well as with members of the band Hoobastank. By the end of high school, Bourdon had become involved in their musical ventures. The trio formed the band Xero, and began to make a more serious attempt to pursue a career in the music industry. Chester Bennington came along a few years later.
After high school, Shinoda enrolled in the Art Center College of Design to study graphic design and illustration.[8] It was here that he made the acquaintance of DJ and turntablist Joseph Hahn, who, along with Delson's college-mate Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, was soon added to Xero's line-up. Shinoda eventually graduated from college with a degree in illustration, securing himself a job as a graphic designer right after graduation.[1] With his background as a graphic artist, Shinoda has taken it upon himself in designing all of Linkin Park's artwork with Hahn, and has even designed the album cover for Styles of Beyond's debut album, 2000 Fold. In later years he would go on to showcase his art skills;[citation needed] he had his debut art showcase (Diamonds Spades Hearts & Clubs) at Gallery 1998[citation needed] in Los Angeles in the time leading up to Linkin Park's album Minutes to Midnight.

In 2005, Mike hosted the Rock Phenomenon Mixtape CD by DJ Vlad and Roc Raida. The CD is the first (and to date, only) in DJ Vlad's Rock Phenomenon series (which itself is a spin-off of Vlad's Rap Phenomenon Mixtape series), and features a Mash-Up of Linkin Park's Papercut, and David Banner's Like a Pimp (Remix). The Mixtape was re-released on July 10, 2007, with new artwork.
In October 2008 Mike and Mark Wakefield recorded and released the song "Barack Your World" under the name White Pegacorn. It can be heard on YouTube and at BarackYourWorld.org.

Linkin Park Guys -> Brad Delson ·

Brad Delson

Bradford Phillip Delson (born December 1, 1977), grew up in the Los Angeles suburb of Agoura Hills. He is a musician, lead guitarist, and one of the founding members of the alternative rock band Linkin Park.[2] He is also the A&R Representative for Machine Shop Recordings. He is of Jewish descent, and is Jewish himself.

Brad Delson attended Agoura High School with childhood friend and Linkin Park band mate Mike Shinoda. He played in various bands throughout his high school career, the most notable being Relative Degree, in which he met and teamed up with drummer Rob Bourdon. Relative Degree's goal was simply to play a show, and, after achieving that goal, they disbanded.
After graduating in 1995, Delson, Shinoda, and Bourdon formed Xero, which would eventually become the starting point for Linkin Park.
Delson entered UCLA in 1995 as a Regent Scholar working toward a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a specialization in Business and Administration. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and shared a dorm room with future Linkin Park band mate Dave Farrell for three out of his four years at school.[3] Delson also had the opportunity to intern with a member of the music industry as part of his studies and ended up working for Jeff Blue, an A&R representative at Warner Bros. Records, who offered constructive criticism on Xero's demos. Incidentally, it was Blue who later introduced Chester Bennington, the current lead vocalist of Linkin Park, to the rest of the band.
After graduating summa cum laude in 1999, Delson decided to forgo law school in order to pursue a musical career with Linkin Park.[1] He remains an avid fan of all things blue and gold.[2]

Linkin Park Guys -> · Rob Bourdon

Rob Bourdon

Robert Gregory Bourdon (born January 20, 1979) is an American musician , who is currently the drummer and one of the founders of the rap rock band Linkin Park.
Musical career

In the albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora, Bourdon's style was simplistic, mostly trying to fit the drumming into the sound of the band, with only "Easier to Run" from Meteora sounding very complex as Rob had to approach his drum playing style differently. In the latest Linkin Park album Minutes to Midnight Rob's drums had wooden bodies to sound more traditional, most notably a complex 3/4 drum pattern in "The Little Things Give You Away". In live shows, playing with the song "Bleed It Out", the song is extended with Rob playing a long solo.
Personal life

In a Z100 chat in February 2008 with Rob and Joe Hahn, DJ of Linkin Park, Bourdon stated that he is single. He dated actress Vanessa Lee Evigan from 2001 to 2007. He previously dated once actress Shiri Appleby. His 25th birthday was featured on an episode of iTunes' LPTV. On January 20, 2004, Linkin Park played a show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the band can be seen joking around backstage and saying that it is Rob's twentieth birthday. In late 2006, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park said on Tattoo Stories that his band mates Rob and main guitarist Brad Delson didn't have any tattoos for religious reasons. Both are actively of the Jewish faith. He now lives in Los Angeles.the founders of the rap rock band Linkin Park.

Linkin Park Guys -> Chester Bennington

Chester Bennington

·Chester Charles Bennington (born on March 20, 1976) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is one of two lead vocalists in the rock band Linkin Park, and was previously associated with the bands Grey Daze, among others. As of 2008 Bennington has released three studio albums with Linkin Park and planning to release his debut album with Dead By Sunrise in 2009.
Bennington's first release with Linkin Park, Hybrid Theory, was a commercial success, and he has released several major albums and singles since then. He has worked with Jay-Z, Jonathan Davis, Young Buck, Busta Rhymes and Aaron Lewis[citation needed]. In 2007, Bennington was placed at 46th on Hit Paraders list of "Heavy Metal's All-Time Top 100 Vocalists".[1]

Bennington was born in Phoenix, Arizona.[2] He took interest in music at a young age, citing Depeche Mode and Stone Temple Pilots as early inspirations. Bennington's parents separated in the late 1980s.He later struggled with cocaine and methamphetamine addictions.[2] Bennington eventually overcame his drug addiction, and would go on to denounce drug use in future interviews.[3] He worked at a Burger King restaurant before starting his career as a professional musician.[2]
Before joining Linkin Park, Bennington was a vocalist in Grey Daze, a now-defunct post-grunge band from Phoenix, Arizona.[4] He left Grey Daze in 1998, but struggled to find another band to play in.[4] After nearly quitting his musical career altogether, Jeff Blue, then the vice president of A&R at Zomba Music in Los Angeles, offered Bennington an audition with the future members of Linkin Park.[4] Bennington quit his day job, and took his family to California, where he had a successful audition with Linkin Park, who were then called "Xero".[4] Bennington and Mike Shinoda, the band’s other vocalist, made significant progress together, but failed to find a record deal.[4] After facing numerous rejections, Jeff Blue, now a vice president of A&R at Warner Bros., intervened again to help the band sign with Warner Bros. Records.[4]
Despite having prodigious success in the early 2000s, Bennington has had medical issues outside of the limelight. He suffered a severe bite from a recluse spider while touring with the OzzFest in 2001.[5] Bennington was plagued with poor health during the making of Meteora, and struggled to attend some of the album’s record sessions.[6] He fell ill during the summer of 2003, and eventually underwent surgery.[7] Bennington sustained a wrist injury in October 2007 while attempting to jump off a platform during a show in Melbourne, Australia. Despite the injury, he continued to perform, and went to the emergency room after the show.[8

Personal life

Bennington married his first wife, Samantha, on October 31, 1996.[31] They had one child, named Draven Sebastian, who was born on April 19, 2002.[31] Bennington’s relationship with Samantha declined during his years with Linkin Park, leading to their divorce in 2005.[32] After divorcing his first wife, Bennington married Talinda Bentley, a former Playboy model,[31] with whom he has had one child Tyler Lee and has two children from a previous relationship Jaime and Isiah. [31] Bennington and his family live in a 6,000-square-foot house in Newport Beach Orange County when he is not on tour.[33] He is also an avid tattoo enthusiast.[33] In addition to sporting many tattoos and piercings all over his body, and has done work and promotions with Club Tattoo, a recognized tattoo parlor in Tempe, Arizona.[34][35] Bennington also made a cameo in the 2006 film Crank.[36] Bennington and his second wife were harassed by a cyberstalker, Devon Townsend, for almost a year. Townsend was found guilty of tampering with the couple's email, as well as making threatening messages, and was sentenced to two years in prison.[33]

Linkin Park

Linkin Park is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California. Since their formation in 1996, the band has sold more than 50 million albums[4] and won two Grammy Awards.[5][6][7] They achieved mainstream success with their debut album, Hybrid Theory, which was certified Diamond by the RIAA in 2005.[8] Their following studio album, Meteora, continued the band's success, topping the Billboard 200’s album charts in 2003, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the world.[9]

Recognized for their adaptation of the nu metal and rap rock genre into a radio-friendly yet densely-layered style in Hybrid Theory and Meteora,[10][11][12] the band moved away from this and explored a variety of other genres in their latest studio album, Minutes to Midnight.[13][14] The album topped the Billboard charts and had the third best debut week of any album that year.[15][16] They are also known for their several collaborations, most notably with rapper Jay-Z in their mash-up album Collision Course, and many other artists on Reanimation
